The original was one of my deceased husband’s favorite songs. It was a ringtone for coworkers.

That is clever, football isn't a thing over here, we are soccer addicts.. no spinoff but this is kind of the "official" song every 4 years for the world championship, it gives everyone goosebumps, maybe it will happen next year, maybe not but the most important thing is to beat the germans... lol.. they are the mortal enemy ever since 1974 when they robbed us of the championship, that really was a conspiracy, they bribed the referee and we won't ever let them forget..





Edit.. oh, about that feud, this must be the best moment, from the 1988 european championship, we beat the germans then, the custom is to exchange shirts after the match to show everything is good and they are still friends.. this is what our star player did with his german shirt.. lol.. that caused a huge outrage, it really pissed them off, it has been total war ever since..

yeah Elusivebutterfly I have seen that entire performance from huey lewis and the news and i kinda remember them doing that song when i watched it. as far as the cowboys song, their song is 99% identical of the original boys are back song with only a word or two altered do it doesnt rally compare to the Rams song sense they had SEVERAl words they had to rewrite,they had LOTS of craming of words they had to invent where with that song,they hardly changed anything so they didnt have anywhere near the work those guys had their work cut out to do so im not really all that impressed of the cleverness of that video as i am with the rams video for that reason.

had it NOT been for the rams video and i was seeing it.well who knows.might have bene a different story well never know.

The group sounds good.

My dad remembers when the Rams home was Cleveland. I recall going with him on a flight from Buffalo to Detroit sometime in the winter of 1966-1967. It was during a blizzard and almost all flights were cancelled, including ours. He commented that the weather reminded him of the 1945 NFL Championship game when the Rams hosted the Redskins. We were able to hop on a Mohawk Airlines flight, as my dad explained, Mohawk flew through everything.
