This is the trouble, when law-abiding citizen remain unarmed, while the lawless do as they please. The city is hardly a gun free zone, (most criminal thugs do go armed) but the chances of encountering armed law-abiding citizens on the street is very low, as they abide by the law. They honor no other state's ccw permit, as far as I know. It is one of the last states in the country I would visit, nor should any other US Citizen, that cares of their ability to self protect.

Have I ever told you, my belief, that the recognition of weapons permits, by states in the United States, should be recognized in all states, just like drivers licenses, CDL licenses, insurance, marriage certificates, birth certificates, pilots licenses, high school graduation certificates, etc under the doctrine of Full Faith and Credit clause of the Constitution? It is what I believe and that my state and Federally recognized certificates, should not be subject to the whims of various states?
