As he should be. As we all should be. We need more babies. We need to get our birth rate back up where it used to be.

---Our people aren’t having enough children to replace themselves. That should bother us---

Its an issue. But have y'all asked yourselves why folks are having less children?

Great!
What’s he suggesting as support for that plan?

Out of every six pregnancies, for every white woman, there are two blacks and three hispanics.

I really think we need to count all pregnant women twice. We’ll have 30-50 new urban districts in the House and 30 fewer “just cuz” districts where tumbleweeds outnumber voters. As it should be.

It’s always amazed me how demanding these rural nobodies are given their lack of leverage in the world.

Hint:
If you choose to live in the sparsely populated middle of nowhere. Don’t expect to have power in deciding anything.

Democracy always benefits the bulk of society.

Those who choose to live removed from that shouldn’t expect to have the power.

Then they should just go ahead and make me King.

But all kidding aside, Vance has some very solid proposals. Giving parents more voting power is a little stupid, but some of his other proposals are strong. Increasing the child tax credit to five grand per child, eliminate the cap of three children, and make the credit completely refundable. We know the enhanced child tax credit, that Republicans allowed to sunset, did more to lift children out of poverty than any program in history.

Making it easier for one parent to stay home, that is a solid proposal. Start by eliminating daycare subsidies and tax credits. Instead of subsidizing parents working, subsidize them staying home. Increase tax rates on single people and childless couples. Have Medicaid cover all births, at all income levels, and provide post-partem care for a year, with Doulas.

Vance has also mentioned requiring companies to pay overtime for Sunday work. Take it a step further. Pass Federal Blue Laws. Chic Fil A seems to do fine being closed on Sunday. Blue Laws, make the businesses close on Sunday. That could help build families.

He only has 3 kids, why is he not having more?

My sister has 10, Vance needs to up his game.

Why? It's none of my business what others choose to do here.

Creepy Vance for some unknown reason thinks it's his.

Starting 16 years ago, South Korea spent [trump voice]billions and billons[/trump voice} of dollars to encourage breeding.

Guess what.

They had the lowest fertility rate on the planet last year, breaking their previous record.

Japan began government socialist engineering policies to encourage births in the 1990s.

Last year, they had their lowest birth rate on record.
