Vance complains about $4 for a dozen eggs, standing behind a sign saying $2.99 for a dozen...

Yep I understand what a shortage is. When a disease kills millions of chickens, it means the price of eggs go up because there are fewer chickens laying eggs
And if ten per cent of chickens are lost… there’s still chickens and eggs but they cost more

Exactly.

WTF? Do you understand what a shortage is? A full cooler of high priced eggs means there’s an outside reason for it. If there was a shortage the cooler wouldn’t be full.
Hey jackass… when the price goes up people buy fewer. That means the stock doesn’t go down as fast and coolers stay full

How stupid are you?

That’s the most socialist solution ever. Just price people out from buying food and the shelves stay full. Of course they can just starve or live without but the supplies will be fully stocked. We can have a socialist Walmart where the shelves are fully stocked and stay that way if these cretins are just priced out of being able to purchase anything.

You do know eggs have to be sold within a couple days right? They aren’t like a TV that can sit on a shelf forever.

Dude. There’s nothing socialist about supply and demand. You need to stop making yourself sound so stupid

Check out prices for eggs on Walmart.com. Vance is correct about prices.

Well, if the price is $4 in Walmart and it's $2.99 in the shop Vance was in, what does this tell you?

That Walmart is making a nice profit.

But you don't go tell people that eggs are $4 a dozen in a store where they're $2.99, that's just fucking stupid. That's the point.

And Vance is that stupid

Are you really not aware that the avian flu caused the deaths of the thousands of laying hens since 2022????

It's not just inflation driving up the cost of eggs since 2022.
Thousands? That’s nothing for that industry, they deal with bird flu all the time. 8 billion chickens are killed every year in the US.

The avian flu is hammering U.S. poultry farmers, leaving experts to ask: What has changed?

More than 40 million egg-laying hens have been culled in the U.S. alone, making it the worst outbreak on record.
Your link is a year and a half old, Simp.

Sigh. You idiots have no idea how to shop. I havent paid over $3 for eggs in 18 months. The screen grab below is from Harris Teeter (aka Kroger) about 1/4 mile from my estate that I can afford since I dont pay $5 for eggs like a moron.
