A few years back I found a great deal (half the asking price at the time) on this AR9 pistol plus bought two ETS mags for it. Unfortunately right afterwards life reared it's ugly head and I put it away. Just the other day I pulled it out, lubed it and was going to hit the range yesterday but we had high winds/dust storm. That put the brakes on that plan.......
Tomorrow supposedly chilly with rain with Sunday looking promising.
The UT9 (Turkish owned, made here in the USA) is a semi auto 9mm that comes with two 33 round mags and takes Glock mags. All the reviews pretty much say the oem mags suck but the ETS (Glock) mags work flawlessly.
It is a direct blow back, closed bolt with a 6" threaded barrel and a monster compensator that supposedly makes it a soft shooter. It's 4.6 pounds empty with a comfortable poly pistol grip and roughly 15" overall length. It's about i 1/8" wide and 7 3/7" tall without a mag. Mine came with a rear attachment that takes mil-spec buffer tubes, no buffer or spring needed. It will also take a folding stock. I have mine set up to take a single point sling though I might put a folding stock on it though I am considering a Strike FSA Single Folder Stock for it.
