You know, I watched the Toronto Maple Leafs year after year overspend at the trade deadline, trading away First Round picks for rentals and players who didnt get it done. Why is this relevant to this story? They kept overspending for rentals and didnt get it done, no trade capital left now and they still haven;t won a Stanley Cup, havent come close to winning really.

Instead of taking that failed approach which has ruined U.S industries, Trunp is taking the wiser, slower approach and saying "watch the results as I stay the course and defy pressure to let up on tariffs. We are going to bring manufacturing back to America whether Wall Street likes it or not".

I assure you if he can hold his ground, over four years it will be very successful and the Dems, media and economic/business experts know it. MSN. The biggest toy maker in the US is enlarging the footprint of its two domestic factories by 50% — a response to surging demand from retailers as Trump’s tariffs threaten to raise costs, The Post has learned.

Wonderful. Though it’s a half-messure. Trump should be shutting the borders down completely with a one-way door… things go out but nothing comes in.

Thank you President Trump.

Wow that's way too extreme. One of my worries actually is that Americans get angry at Canada and say "we wont accept any imports from Canada" as a response to the anti-Americanism fools openly expressing what has always been present but is now "acceptable" as the government and the creepy Ones (the police apparatuses) are allowing it.

Our system is similar to Chinas system where citizens suddenly feel its ok to be critical of a nation. Japan was one of them where people were burning flags as they had trade disputes, Australia was another. Suddenly, people are on the streets angry, then a week later the government says "these people are ok, you must stop now" and they do. Its creepy but very Canadian too.

We are allowing haters to now to speak out against the U.S, which has often happened in the pass by government sources, but they wouldn;t allow you to complain about masks a few years ago. Canada has always had an acceptable policy of criticizing the U.S, especially GOP politicians.

You sound like one of those extremists so I hope your wildly extreme opinion doesnt win the day. Thats crazy talk man, you need imports.

Yes, it is an extreme viewpoint. Only extreme viewpoints generate change in society.

If we don’t have it, we don’t need it. It’s that simple. If there were to be an exception to thst rule, that’s what we spend all that money on the military for.

There are a few sports teams who have spent like hell, only to come up empty. Good analogy.

Oh no!!! Trump's tariffs are making American manufacturers stand on their own feet and become innovative and competitive.

It's the end of the world, I tell ya. :laughing0301:

Overspending was not the problem. This was.
