Russia can’t defeat Ukraine, and they’re somehow supposed to beat us? Not a chance.

America couldn't defeat Afghanistan with 20 years and trillions of dollars spent. We're talking against a few thousand goat herders here. Last country to attack Russia learned that it is not easy to beat Russia and the Russians don't fight nice. Moreover, if America attacks Russia I think China would intervene and then we are in WWIII. No one will win in WWIII.
