"Since when does not supporting a foreign nation get a US soldier investigated for being a threat to national security?"US Army Sergeant Jonathan Estridge, a 20-year military veteran, says he is under investigation for sharing anti-Israel posts on social media. It comes amid a broader nationwide crackdown on Gaza-related protests and growing concerns over free speech since President Donald Trump’s return to the White House in January.

Free America from AIPAC! Estridge did nothing wrong. He took an oath of allegiance to America not to Israel.

He is asking for trouble commenting on international affairs while he is in the military, especially if he is doing it in uniform.

Although there does appear to be a bullshit double standard here. If the soldier had been criticizing Britain or France on social media, then nobody in the Trump Nazi government would care.

People actively in the military have a lot of restrictions on free speech

Was he elected to office to make policy for the people? No?
Was he given authority to make policy for the people? No?

He is a military member of some standing. This means he understands, or should, that he is permitted to hold his views on foreign affairs, but is not permitted to comment on them in a public forum.

You cannot be a member of our armed forces and believe that you can contradict your legal superiors.

Stay in your lane Sgt.

Generally speaking, one should always keep his or her service record in their front pocket where it belongs.

Too many flaunt it, in my view.

And he should know better than to set himself up like that being that he is active duty.

But...in terms of the GP, the lobby pretty much has control over Congress, the policing of ''thought crimes'' and censorship is only gonna get worse.

Some recent examples of how that gambit is being run...

Looks like the lobby is gonna continue to flex and flaunt its control over congress and keep trying to control the flow iof information on the world wide web at every possible angle and opportunity it can as well...

Average Americans really do need to wake up and revisit who it is that really hates them for their freedom and who it is awho is actually functionally and strategically acting as the aggressor toward it from within their own government before it's too late. Particularly given that the coup is largely being undertaken by unregistered foreign agents of a particular foreign nation.

Especially since the President of the United states himself openly contends that Israel has historically and should ''rightfully hold power over the American congress'' while expressing utter disbelief at the very notion that it would ever lose any of its acquired power over the American congress thus far...

An article 15 is one thing but being "under investigation" means something else. This is not an issue about espionage but Israel has the US by the balls. The US is not an independent country.

I completely disagree.

This is all about Article 15, if for no other reason than to save face. An Article 15 usually ends up with an administrative admonishment followed by the curtailing of any promotional opportunities.

Rarely does it result in a 'less than honorable' or dishonorable discharge.

Under investigation can mean that his views have become public and his Commanding officer has asked his administrative staff to investigate, or possibly a call to the OSI.

The point of it all is that the Sgt should have known better.

Bless Bless the IDF!!!!

Nice grouping!!!

Britain and France don’t trigger the lefts TDS.

This guy needs to be dishonorably discharged.

Triggered.

No, just stating the facts.

Were the facts I stated incorrect?

If so, then where?

It's certainly all verifiable information if anyone would like to...what do you guys call it? Fact check?

Or one can just throw a rock like you just did if the facts just hurt their feelings and are just too much to bear to read, I suppose. That's what most on here tend to do anyway. Ha...

That's what I am telling you. Being under investigation for a breach in national security is a serious matter and can lead to a dishonourable discharge and prison sentencing. National security would only be applicable if the US were under Israel's military jurisdiction. Is it?

Making a political statement in Uniform is a big no-go no matter what side you lean to.
