According to Israeli officials, the planned US base along the Gaza border would house several thousand troops tasked with maintaining the cease-fire; the move signals Washingtonโ€™s determination to deepen its involvement in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

The American Coordination Center has taken the lead in managing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, relegating Israel to a secondary role.

Contrary to Israel's position, Ankara is preparing a force of at least 2,000 troops for the peacekeeping force in the Gaza Strip โ€ข A Turkish source was quoted as saying: "Our presence will provide balance and credibility on the ground"

LOL....I bet the Palis will not want to **** with the Turks....Their ROE is "different" when it comes to Arabs.

USA supplied Israel with unlimited number of bombs.
Not all explode, and the Palestinians can restock with US-made military grade explosives.

We should manage the aid to keep it from falling into the wrong hands.

There is concern among the political echelon that the US administration, which seeks to reduce regional tensions, may see Turkey as an effective mediator โ€“ even at the cost of harming Israeli interests.

Bad move. I wouldn't involve the Turks in any of that. They're Muslims for the most part.

Hamas is intact despite USA backed Israel genocide bombing campaign.
There are military-grade explosives all over the place from unexploded bombs for Hamas to pick up.
Seems USA concluded the reputational damage is too high.
And USA will manage aid inflow stopping Israel's starving policy.

Hamas will disarm to a USA recognized Palestinian State, and will continue as the Palestinian-Democratic-Forces political party, page 15 CIA-playbook.

If Netanyahu plays stupid games he'll get Jerusalem not partitioned into 2, but into 3 (Vatican in the Holy Lands).

The desperate search for peacekeepers in Gaza
While Israel and the United States are trying to form an international stabilization force that will allow the IDF to leave the Gaza Strip, almost no country is willing to send troops to Hamas-controlled territory.

Rambo territory

The benevolent truehearted Turk Rambo will re-enter Palestine after 107 years.
The century-old longing will come to an end.
History is calling, too loud for the conscience to ignore.
We hear you.

A Turkish military footprint in the Strip, reinforced by the growing dominance of Turkish civilian aid groups, could, in Erdogan's view, narrow Israel's room to maneuver and its operational freedom in Gaza, and thus its ability to act consistently, deeply and effectively against Hamas's reconstruction efforts.
Israel's understandable caution about harming Turks, together with Erdogan's sway over Trump to restrain Israel, gives the Turkish Armed Forces a chance to clamp Israel in a pincer, via Gaza in the south and Syria in the north. That is how the Turkish president could carve out and stabilize a strategic comfort zone that works to Israel's detriment.

Meanwhile, in Israel, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett sharply criticized international efforts to place Gaza under multinational control, warning that transferring security responsibilities to countries like Qatar and Turkey would endanger Israelโ€™s safety.
โ€œThe transfer of security control in Gaza to multinational forces, some of which are hostile like Turkey, endangers Israel's security,โ€ Bennett said in a statement.

Turkey isn't hostile they are partners in crime with Israel.

Er wait, we're putting US boots on the ground near GAZA? That sounds like another BlackHawk Down or 1980s Beirut. And why are WE paying for it?
