No I didn't miss. I merely pointed out we are involved.

I don't have faith in that site the source material is from anyway talking about America doing the shooting. I also can't speak about that specific aspect since none of us knows if we did or not because we aren't there and I don't believe what most of the news says about the whole ordeal, even if I did it's only a tiny sliver of the whole story.

Of course the U.S. bankrolls the war, arms the Ukrainians, gives them the world’s best military intelligence, and has advisors training Ukrainians inside the country. Since long before Victoria Nuland said “**** the Europeans” and long before the Kiev 2014 “revolution” overthrew a democratically-elected President, the CIA has had deep links with Banderites and Ukrainian nationalists who were determined to purge pro-Russian influence from Ukraine.

The U.S. has succeeded in further dominating its NATO partners, ending hopes for European political independence, and even weakening European economies to its own benefit. If perchance Putin dies or the Russian Federation collapses, the CIA and Ukrainian nationalists will have their greatest dreams realized. Most likely the war will go on for years and the Ukraine will be devastated, while a Mafia-like Russian Federation will survive. The Russian people will, as ever, suffer further oppression and degradation.

The Americans evidently don’t trust the Ukrainian military command with its most advanced long-distance weapons, fearing they will use them to strike into Russia. But who is the more irresponsible party of these two? Perhaps it was the U.S. military that was responsible for the mysterious strike on the Russian prisoner of war site in Donbas that killed so many Ukrainian Assov battalion fighters. Who really knows?

All this doesn’t mean we should support the bloody, illegal and criminally stupid Russian invasion, either. The war is a tragedy, and its ultimate results will almost certainly be tragic. When one or both sides are exhausted, there may finally be a — most likely partial and temporary — ceasefire.

Russia says United States is directly involved in Ukraine war​

LONDON (Reuters) - Russia on Tuesday said that the United States, the world's top military power, was directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine because U.S. spies were approving and coordinating Ukrainian missile strikes on Russian forces.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine has triggered the most serious crisis in relations between Russia and the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, when many people feared the world was on the brink of nuclear war.

Russia's defence ministry, headed by a close ally of President Vladimir Putin, said Vadym Skibitsky, Ukraine's deputy head of military intelligence, had admitted to the Telegraph newspaper that Washington coordinates HIMARS missile strikes.

"All this undeniably proves that Washington, contrary to White House and Pentagon claims, is directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine," the defence ministry said.

I agree with everything you said, except that the U.S. has been largely controlled by European conservatives since the end of WWII. So while the U.S. may control NATO, it's really European conservatives that are calling the shots. They've wanted to have at Russia since forever.

The United States is directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman says

"Statements made by Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, confirm that the United States is directly involved in the ongoing conflict there, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

In an interview with the Telegraph published on Monday, Skibitsky refused to answer questions about whose satellites are used to confirm targets for US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems. He did acknowledge, however, that they consult with Washington before launching strikes and that Washington has veto power over decision-making.

“No other confirmation of the direct involvement of the United States in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine is required,” Zakharova said on Tuesday, because the US doesn’t just arm and train Ukrainian forces but essentially shoots the weapons themselves.

Zakharova stressed that the US is directly involved and that its distance from the situation is irrelevant.

“They are fully involved. Now Kiev representatives are talking about their military involvement not only through the supply of weapons, but through personnel management in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, direct instructions and the choice of targets,” Zakharova added.

Speculation has been ongoing about Washington’s involvement in the conflict. For example, in April French journalist Georges Malbrunot went viral on social media after claiming to have seen first-hand that Americans are “in charge” of the Ukrainian war effort on the ground."

So, Russia is on official record stating that the United States is directly involved with a war against them. Nothing to worry about, right?
