Has anyone received emails from what looks like state officials saying you owe tollway fees and if you don't pay today you will lose your license? I received one a day for over one month, guess what, I checked my account and nothing was in there. I ignored them and I still have my license.

There are many other texts I've received looking like other business or government and all bullshit. So, I will call bullshit for this one. Just saying, it is a ongoing scam by con artists.

I went through a period of unpleasantness where I was getting tickets from all over the US. parking tickets, red light camera tickets, highway toll charges, for all kinds of vehicles.

It turned out that my license plate had been cloned and sold everywhere. It happens.

Like the letter my aunt got from the IRS, demanding she pay the thirty million dollars in taxes she owed.

My uncle got a letter from the IRS stating he owed one penny.

He wrote them a check for one penny, and mailed it, certified return receipt.
