Anyone familiar with the concept or ever been involved?
I don't think it's feasible here (being a blasted desert and all), but the concept sure sounds good. Fresher food, no worrying about nation-wide recalls, aesthetics, sustainability... Kinda like the whole Freedom Garden thing, but on the scale of a small community.
