This is a strange world we live in and it’s getting stranger, especially with James Comey and the FBI. Many remember Robert Stack portraying Elliot Ness in the 1960’s television series, “The Untouchables”, the name suggesting incorruptibility. But in Comey’s mind that name may suggest something else.
The FBI’s leadership is no stranger to strangeness; Boomers recall that the American mob was able to operate with relative impunity for many years due to the refusal of FBI head J. Edgar Hoover to admit the mob even existed. What we know today is that the mob almost certainly had in its possession photographs of Hoover prancing around in stiletto heels wearing assless chaps at sex parties with his deputy at the bureau, Clyde Tolson. That’s a long way from Walter Winchell narrating a series about Elliot Ness matching wits with Frank Nitti.
It seems incredible that even today with the life-risking hazards faced by FBI personnel, that its leadership is still so strangely off the wall. The ability of mobster Whitey Bulger to stay on the lam for 16 years notwithstanding, the appointment of James Comey by Obama to head the bureau is another example of FBI leadership walking out of the corn like a character in a Stephen King novel.
Comey’s connections to the Clinton Foundation, a massive front organization enriching the Clinton’s, will probably appear in future dictionaries as the world’s number one illustration of Quid pro Quo. They have been hiding in plain sight since Comey’s whitewash of Hillary’s calculated and organized destruction of subpoenaed evidence in 2016 which was not an uncommon practice in her circle since it happened previously in the Benghazi investigation.
These people function on a different level than eugenically challenged citizens like the rest of us. If we don’t respond truthfully, we are called liars (perjurers) and punished severely. Comey and Clinton are different; they show “a lack of candor” or “bad judgement”. Of course, if the election hadn’t exposed the termites under the boards, none of this ever would have come to light.
Comey’s ridiculous statement that no reasonable person would investigate Clinton is obviously influenced by his connection to Lockheed Martin, a major Clinton foundation donor and his brother Peter Comey, who does the Taxes for the criminal Clinton organization.
When Comey attacks the president, you can almost hear Hoover defending Lucky Luciano. If “untouchable” Comey isn’t dealt with, the FBI is done.
