UNRWA finds tunnel underneath schools in Gaza

Who's surprised? That's not new that Hamas uses UNRWA schools and hospitals as military installations.

UNRWA spokesperson Chris Gunness released a statement saying that part of a tunnel was found underneath two adjacent schools -- Maghazi Elementary Boys A&B School and the Maghazi Preparatory Boys School -- in Maghazi refugee camp while construction was being carried out during the summer vacation.

“It is unacceptable that students and staff are placed at risk in such a way. The construction and presence of tunnels under UN premises are incompatible with the respect of privileges and immunities owed to the United Nations under applicable international law, which provides that UN premises shall be inviolable.”

Hamas released a statement in response, denying that the movement had any involvement in the tunnel.

What excuses? The links to every story on this is a jewish fake news site and the OP does not even link to the UNRWA statement. Go read it yourself, moron. It is quite specific in that no entrance or exits were even discovered, let alone there was no comment on exactly who built what was discovered leaving any reasonable person not knowing if this was simply another hole dug by mossad or idf agents to be used for propaganda purposes.

Actually there was a comment about Hamas building tunnels.
And an opening can be dug in 2 hours. Most of tunnels have entrances, the exists are dug before the attacks so not to make them evident.

Why all this focus on entrances and exits? The whole tunnel is a military installation, not just the entrances and exits. The whole tunnel is therefore a military objective, not just the entrances and exits. By building a tunnel under two schools, the perpetrators have placed a military target in the midst of civilian infrastructure and therefore are endangering the lives of the children and the staff at the schools. (Which is obviously in contravention of law, not to mention any sort of moral behaviour).

A deliberate attempt to make the tunnel and its activities immune, do you think? Or are they hoping that their children get killed and injured as martyrs and excuses to further incite?
