PARIS — Workers tried to shut down France on Tuesday with strikes affecting airports, public transportation, schools and the postal service in a showdown with President Nicolas Sarkozy over his government's attempt to raise the retirement age by two years to save money.

That's what I don't get!!

Ok, he's doing the same thing that flopped in the Great Depression. BUT, things are different now and it may have worked. And school tought us all the FDR walked on water.

But today, TODAY, you can see socialism failing. Greeks are burning Greece, there are riots all over the EU. Why? B/c the goverments are out of money.

Unless you want to kill your own economy you would not copy this.
