I am not a Republican or Democrat as there are things about both parties that irritate me...and I personally find them to be very similar in terms of paranoia around national security...Both, seem to believe in the reduction of civil liberties...

Civil liberties have never suffered under a Republican administration. It is the liberals that kill babies and stop our freedom to worship God. Conservatives protect individual rights by supporting the Second amendment so we can fight the fascism and the socialism of the liberals.

Civil liberties are disappearing no matter who's running things at the moment.
The patriot act was started under Bush and Obama has shown no inclination to put a stop to it.
People need to wake the **** up and realize they are being played by both sides.
Oh....I consider myself a Republican. But only because they more "closely" match my ideals. They sure as hell aren't without fault.

Well something destroyed the middle class. America went along quite well for many years, and had a strong viable middle class, and then some people began yelping equal-rights. It was not only the unions but the minorities, weeping how abused they were; numerous studies have shown that slavery was almost utopian. Did slaves worry about cotton growing, their medical expenses their next meal? And what of American women? All that stuff about equal rights, and the liberals let em get away with it, no, encouraged them to 2whine.
In middle class countries women and others know their place. Many of us can still envision what America would have been like if people still knew their place; tipped their hats to their betters and said sir; sir to even the little gentlemen that went to the better schools. Nations that have a strong middle class of nobles, elites, and wealthy were always superior to these everybody-is-equal-crap-nations.
We can bring back America's greatnesss with one massive GOP election and restore America to the middle class nation it could have been. And that reminds me of another thorn, the founding fathers, some founders, some fathers, they may are the beginners of destroying the middle class. And the communist, Jefferson, copying straight out of Marx.

Yep...
The American people need to find common ground and start demanding our Gov stop with BS.
It's one engineered disaster after another. The divide among us is getting to the point where we'll never agree on anything.
Not sure if common ground can be found with the country heading for socialism,because i'll never agree to that.
All that means is more gov control of our lives.

I have no doubt,that it they could pull it off dems would ban all guns.
But even clinton warned obama about going after the 2nd amendment.
As far as i'm concerned gun laws are just fine the way they are. Enforce current laws and stiffen penalties for crimes committed with guns.
