From what I now understand, is that piece of human garbage, Kornberger, will be eligible for parole in 10 short years. All it would take for him to walk out of prison in that time frame is for this dumb ass country to elect another waste of space liberal president. God help us if we had to endure a Biden 2.o presidency, because his already documented liberal actions show that he would certainly consider paroling Kornberger, like he has for other undeserving criminals like his son.. The judge should never have accepted this deal put forth by an incompetent prosecution team. Utah is no better than Califukornia.

This case has NOTHING to do with Utah. It is being tried in IDAHO, where the crime was committed. SMH.

1. Bryan Kohberger was tried and sentenced in Idaho, not Utah.
2. Bryan Kohberger is "not" eligible for parole in 10 years. 10 years was added to his sentence for burglary.
3. Bryan Kohberger was sentenced to 4 life sentences for the 4 murders he committed.
4. Bryan Kohberger couldn't be sentenced to death because he waived the right to a jury trial. A jury trial can result in a death sentence if "all" jurists agree on that as a punishment.
5. In all cases which are serious enough to warrant the possibility of a jury trial (in every state), the defense attorney(s) can request a plea deal in exchange for a guilty plea and the prosecution may or may not agree to working out a plea deal. Plea deals are often accepted by the prosecution for the following reasons: To save the city/county/state the time and expensive costs of a jury trial, to save the victims or their family having to sit before a courtroom packed with observers and jurists and to ensure some form of punishment as the defense is agreeing to accepting a guilty pleas in exchange for this arrangement.
A death penalty would have definitely been acceptable in in the case and at least some of the families of the deceased are upset that he didn't get the death penalty. They feel Kohberger didn't get the outcome they wanted. I too feel he should have gotten death for killing four people, but that's how the justice system works in this nation.

Who is surprised this is happening in Idaho? Okay, now who is aware Californians have been invading Idaho? There you go.
Idaho has done a fair job of handling this case that could easily have gone south and resulted in no justice at all. Kohberger is to be sentenced to four consecutive Life without parole sentences according to news sources in this area. Today is the date he is supposed to make the plea, so we'll know by the end of the day. One thing for sure--he isn't going free because one cockamamie juror from CA decides he is their heeeero.

This freak got exactly what he wanted. I say hook him up to some 220vac and flip the breaker switch but that's just me.

You understand incorrectly. The only thing short in this picture is your attention span.

And it is Kohberger, not Kornberger. He will not be eligible for parole. Ever.

Everything else you spewed after this point was built on a false premise and ignorance.

????????????????? He gets no parole, ever.

I doubt he sees July 4, 2026. Good riddance.
Sometimes I wonder with these people if we shouldn't just let them go free. We make a very public announcement that we are setting them free and they will be exiting the side door at 9PM on such and such day and also explain that they are understaffed and can't offer any protection for him as he leaves. Whatever happens, happens. We clean up the mess and just say we don't know who to charge if something does happen.

That's how the injustice system works. Crime in the streets is bad enough without more crime in the courtroom. :(

I'm sure those families would have happily endured a jury trial if the death penalty was the result.

I don't if that was the right decision, but... I was not, and none of you were, part of the decision making process.

It's a heck of thing to carry over your head.
