Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman has expressed hope for President Trump’s second term, saying he is not rooting against him and that doing so would be rooting against the country. In a recent interview on ABC News’ “This Week,” Fetterman discussed his optimism for Trump’s presidency and pushed back against the fierce criticism he has faced from Democrats since his first term.

Despite the constant attacks from Democrats, Fetterman remains optimistic about Trump’s presidency, telling co-host Jonathan Karl, “If you’re rooting against the president, you’re rooting against the nation and I’m not ever gonna be where I want a president to fail. So, country first.” He also urged people to “chill out” and give Trump a chance to govern before making judgments about his presidency.

Fetterman’s belief in Trump’s potential for success is not new. In the past, he has praised the former president for his “special” bond with his home state of Pennsylvania and called his victory a “serious flex for the bros.” Fetterman also pushed back against the narrative that Trump and his supporters are fascists, telling Politico, “I love people that are absolutely going to vote for Trump. They’re not fascists. They’re not those things.”

Fetterman might be the single sane Democrat left in politics.

Who in the world saw that coming?

The stroke left him as more of the old Blue Dog dem.

There's only 11 of them left due to the dem loons primarying them.

One should never root against a democraticaly.elected leader, especially their own. This is ceven more critical now as the prospect of WWIII is real and the Axis are expanding their threat potential across the globe.
