That was an unwise move by Ukraine. I understand their hatred of Russia, but aiding ISIS over Assad was aiding the greater of two evils. Sometimes you have to be realistic in these situations and take the lesser of two evils, even if that lesser evil is allied with your mortal enemy. Assad posed no threat to Ukraine.

I can't for the life of me understand why Biden allowed ISIS to topple Assad. Now Biden is authorizing large-scale air strikes against ISIS in Syria. This should have been done months ago, and we should have provided other aid to Assad as well, rather than have ISIS take over the country.
