Kharkov seems to be irrelevant to Russia.
That was obvious weeks ago.
Like their attacks on Kiev and other cities in the north...they appear to have been either diversions and/or attempts to get Zelenskyy to flee/surrender.
The Russians goal seems pretty clear - they want to secure the Donbass region and possibly the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
It is obvious now that they have no intention of conquering all of Ukraine - assuming they even could.
