Ukraine’s drone attack on Russian warplanes was a serious blow to the Kremlin’s strategic arsenal​

A surprise Ukrainian drone attack that targeted several Russian air bases hosting nuclear-capable strategic bombers was unprecedented in its scope and sophistication and for the first time reached as far as Siberia in a heavy blow to the Russian military.

Ukraine said over 40 bombers, or about a third of Russia’s strategic bomber fleet, were damaged or destroyed Sunday, although Moscow said only several planes were struck. Yes, the courage of the Ukranian soldier has fought the good fight. However, America is the reason the Ukraine is still in the fight. Trunp.is seeking peace, this doesn't correlate with an absurd suggestion he is against liberty and freedom. He wants to save lives and focus Americas attention (and dollars) elsewhere. Suggesting that wanting peace is anti-American is disingenuous at best.

It is absolutely irrelevant (in the matter of nuclear deterrence) if Trump, or his team, or whoever else in his administration were informed or not.

The fact is, that the USA (or their assets acting independently) escalated situation to the level "deniable non-nuclear proxy attacks against nuclear forces" (closer to actual nuclear exchange than anytime during Cold War, including Carribian Missile Crisis). It means, that in less than a year, US strategic bombers on the Diego Garcia airbase (or anywhere else in the world) will be attacked by, say, Iranians, Houthies, Mexicans, Democrat activists or whever else. Or, may be, it will be "unknows pirates" who launch unmanned boats to attack US (or French or British) SSBNs in bases or anywhere elese. Just wait and prepare.

And watch "Dr. Strangelove", of course.

Trump was obviously pissed at Putin. Trump called him "absolutely crazy" and indicated that he could cause "lots of really bad things" to happen in Russia just a few days before the attack.

And the attack also proved that two of Russia's strategic nuclear bombers were wooden decoys. Where are the real ones that are unaccounted for? Venezuela? Cuba?
