In an email to embassy workers Friday morning, Ambassador Mike Huckabee warned them that if they wanted to leave Israel, they “should do so TODAY.”

With the threat of a U.S. strike on Iran looming, the United States embassy in Jerusalem has told its workers that they may leave Israel and warned them that if they want to, it is vital that they do so immediately.

The directive came from Ambassador Mike Huckabee in an email to embassy workers at the U.S. mission on Friday, a copy of which was reviewed by The New York Times.

The move followed meetings and phone calls through the night, Mr. Huckabee wrote in the email, which made no explicit mention of Iran. He said it resulted from “an abundance of caution” and conversations with the State Department in which officials agreed that the safety of embassy staff was a priority.

Those wishing to leave “should do so TODAY,” Mr. Huckabee continued, urging them to find a flight out of Ben-Gurion Airport to any destination for which they could book passage.

This is getting real very fast. Trump wants to start a war, he does not care who he fights. He needs people with cooler heads to talk him down. War with Cuba/Iran/Venezuela would be a disaster for this country. Trump as the, "No Foreign Wars" president. He needs to be reminded of that.

Are you rooting for Iran again?

Absolutely .

The US talk big but never win .

Remember when a few dozen locals threw the Fatties out of Grenada in 1983 ?
Even funnier than the miserable Afghan exit .
I am torn.

Take Korea, for example. Half of Korea is free thanks to US involvement as Rocket Man starves and oppresses his own people, which is why the average South Korean is about 3 feet taller than North Koreans.

Many countries apart from the US have told its citizens to leave Iran immediately.

"India told citizens to leave Iran. Canada issued its strongest possible warning: leave Iran now. Germany advised citizens in Israel to prepare for airspace closures. The Beirut embassy is evacuating against Hezbollah retaliation."

Oh... and China too, obviously.

Toppling the Islamic Terror State of Iran and freeing the Iranian people would be his greatest legacy.

Attacking Iran, after president Trump destroyed their nuclear capabilities, seems odd. Maybe Bibi wants to test his iron dome? Iranian missiles apparently can't reach CONUS, but Israel is in range.

Don't do it president peace. There might to a prize in there for you.

The world recognizes Iran as the leading country in the world that promotes terrorism.

Wiki leaks confirmed this as we finally saw what other Middle Eastern countries really thought of Iran.

Well, everyone in the country aside from the Left.
