U.S. says Cuba is prohibited from taking Russian oil as two tankers head to island

And Bin Laden running things would have been better?

Don't Worry, England is going that way, but it's for talking bad about Islam instead of the King.
Nothing you say matters. Your words are meaningless because you’ll say anything that is convenient for you.

You still don't understand the difference between an act of war and a declaration of war.
Congress doesn't have to declare anything for us to blockade Cuba.
Why are we bloackading them? Don't we have more pressing concerns?

Didn't Trump run on no more wars? Thats an act of war.

Evidently we are now blockading Cuba. Thats an absolute act of War. When did Congress declare this? How many countries are we at war with? How is this helping the grocery bill?

  • The U.S. Treasury Department has made clear that Cuba is not allowed to take delivery of Russian crude.
  • The warning comes at a time when two tankers carrying Russian oil and gas are thought to be on their way to Havana.
  • The fuel-starved Caribbean island is facing its biggest test since the collapse of the Soviet Union under a U.S. oil blockade.

Great news. Screw commies and their fans.

Actually the U.S. did force the country into oppression which is how support for the '59 revolution was able to grow. And also, actually, Cuba was sovereign and independent until the U.S. decided to start starving them to death a couple months ago. Well I suppose they technically still are sovereign and independent until the U.S. installs the new puppet government.
Cuba has had nearly 70 years to reform and evolve. That’s not on the US.

Starving them to death as we speak by military blockade is not on the U.S.? :cuckoo:
What has the regime been doing to its own people for the last 70 years? I’m not onboard with a blockade but a regime change is long overdue.

The US has essentially been the only country to embargo Cuba. Most of the rest of the world places no restrictions on travel, tourism, or commerce.
The Cuban governments have hidden behind the US restrictions to excuse their crappy central planning economic policies and lack of private property rights.

I’m curious, did congress approve our war against Russia? I mean, it’s our money, our weapons, and our training that is fighting that war….its our war, by proxy

Don’t you see the problem? Tourists from all over the world flock to Cuba. The country should give Mexican resorts a run for the money but yet, it’s still stuck in third world status.
