I am certain there are many Canadians with information.

America cannot sustain continued protectionism by other nations and non-tariff, state-lead abuses. Your debt an middle class can no longer remain the golden goose.

We need competition, especially in the banking industry.

The Trump administration has initiated a Section 301 trade investigation that now includes Canada among 60 targeted countries. The review will examine whether Canadian trade policies are discriminatory or place burdens on U.S. commerce. This development coincides with global market disruptions from the Iran conflict and the upcoming mandatory review of the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement.

Canada included in Section 301 trade probe

The U.S. Trade Representative has added Canada to a Section 301 investigation that now covers 60 countries. The probe will assess whether policies in these nations are 'unreasonable or discriminatory and burden or restrict U.S. commerce.' Canadian issues that could draw scrutiny include its dairy supply management system and provincial restrictions on alcohol sales, both of which have been longstanding points of contention in bilateral trade.
