there is a law that requires you to pull over when a cop is trying to stop you for a traffic infraction,,Lawful order. Pull over isn't listed there either, but you think you can just ignore a cop telling you to pull over?
Showing your license and registration isn't listed either. you think you can refuse to do that as well?
That moron has no grasp of logic.Lawful order. Pull over isn't listed there either, but you think you can just ignore a cop telling you to pull over?
Showing your license and registration isn't listed either. you think you can refuse to do that as well?
so you never said a person shouldnt agravate cops??You haven’t quoted me at all, dumbass.
You misspelled “intelligent” there, kiddo.
there is a law that requires you to pull over when a cop is trying to stop you for a traffic infraction,,
only lawful instructions,,
here you are saying/advising if youre pulled over to not aggravate the cops,,Just stop. You’re sounding like a liberal dumbass. Advising someone who gets pulled over to not aggravate the cops isn’t “defending” the cops. STFU with that BS.
I will happily do that when you provide yours,,Now you get to go find that one.
I advised against it, if you wish to avoid unpleasant consequences. If you want to take the chance, go for it. That doesn’t mean I defend cops who overreact. Think better.so you never said a person shouldnt agravate cops??
Bullshit. There are probably less the five Black Ferraris in that city. Maybe as few as one, black is not a popular color for Ferraris. In fact, that is the only one I have ever seen. People who drive cars like Ferraris like bright colors to attract attention. The most common color for Ferraris is Italian Racing Red or Rosso Corsa. There are twenty-four colors that Ferraris are sold in and only three are variations of black, Nero Daytona (a glossy black), Nero DS Opaca (a matte black) and Nero Pastello.Asking the police to act professionally is "neutralizing" them?
Here's the thing. They assumed a black man driving an expensive car probably stole it, and they approached him like he was a perp.
Seriously, four motorcycle cops to deal with a SEAT BELT violation?
I will happily do that when you provide yours,,
I already have the laws keyed up ready for posting
unpleasant consequences like getting abused by bad cops,,I advised against it, if you wish to avoid unpleasant consequences. If you want to take the chance, go for it. That doesn’t mean I defend cops who overreact. Think better.
he did lower his window and gave the cop his DL,,I just posted one dipshit.
How is "please lower your window" not a lawful order?
unpleasant consequences like getting abused by bad cops,,
thats blaming the victim,,
he did lower his window and gave the cop his DL,,
no law requires the window be all the way down,,
It wasn't a seatbelt violation, with those limo-black windows the cops couldn't even see the driver, let alone if he was wearing a seatbelt. It had to be some sort of moving violation, Florida is a "click it or ticket" state where no seatbelt can be a primary cause for a traffic stop.Neither is treating a citizen with courtesy.
It was a seatbelt violation. You didn't need four cops to deal with a seatbelt violation.
he did comply,, he gave them his DL and got out when they told him to get out,,All he had to do was comply, take his ticket and nothing more would have happened
and why they asked him out of the car and then instead of letting him get out they decided to go all robocop and drag him out,,According to some reports he was raising it again, and if the window was tinted that would remove him from the officers line of sight.
The cops had a right to cuff him, and if he had even complied with that instead of arguing there wouldn't have been a problem. Both sides acted like assholes in this case.Contempt of Cop is not a crime requiring the use of physical force.
The cops overreacted.
And one has to question what would have happened if he hadn't been a famous football player.
he did comply,, he gave them his DL and got out when they told him to get out,,
no law requires he roll the window all the way down or keep it there the whole time during the stop,,
the cop should have been writing the ticket instead of dragging him out of the car,,
