Ron Paul has been hammering away at the Fed for decades. Too bad for him his cowardly colleagues in congress are afraid to upset the powers that be, the powers that have bought and paid for their comfortable lifestyles, they are the ones who have stood in the way of a simple thing like an audit of the Federal Reserve for all those decades. It's just another policy action that a vast majority of the American people who know anything about it support, but it's another policy action that a few shadowy members of the 1% oppose, so guess who gets their way?

It seemed the older George Carlin got the smarter he got. I think he became the peoples professor, warning us about the danger of complacency in the face of a great assault on the middle class. He was way ahead of his time on a lot of stuff that was actually deep and philosophical. It's amazing how Carlin could educate his audience on so many different subjects, and yet no matter how dark or depressing the subject he could still make us laugh.

That is a great speech. It's also why the Oligarchy who own America would never allow him to become President. Honesty like that can really cut into profits.

A daydreaming progressive liberal couldn't dream up a much more perfect candidate than one with Bernie's social policies and Paul's defense policies.

Well, I for one don't think Volker ,Greenspan, Bernanke or Yellen were/are even remotely tools of the Bilderburgs or the 1%, or the "banksters"( getting crushed by low interest rates) and would hate to see the most rational and intellectual part of our government corrupted by political control from Congress( 8% approval rating) that would undoubtedly corrupt it.
