20mm or 30mm cannons was my first guess. You can see the splashes from the rounds in the water if you play the video in slow motion. But then there was a primary explosion and milliseconds later, a secondary explosion that blasted the contents of the boat all over the place. Those were probably containers of drugs that you see flying through the air.

AI also says the strike was off the coast of Colombia, which means they're probably working with the Venezuelans.

The article says the boat washed up on November 6, so it wasn't the boat that got struck today.

Maybe they shouldn't have been smuggling weed.
