When Ronald Reagan’s grandfather migrated from Ireland during the Great Famine—a period so severe that some cases of cannibalism were reported due to extreme hunger—no one in America told him to “go back to your horrible country, where people eat dead human bodies.” These incidents were documented by Reverend Patrick Ward in County Mayo and preserved at University College Dublin, including a case of a mother ate flesh from her deceased daughter’s arm.
By the way, President Joe Biden has direct ancestral ties to County Mayo. His ancestors survived hunger, death, and the conditions where people were forced to eat the dead—not just war like Somalia.
I still think positively about Trump and conservatives in America; I share with them the defense of family values and moral life. Also, I believe the American people have the full right to make laws to protect their country from uncontrolled, illegal, immigration that politicized and manipulated by liberals.
I served my country, Sudan, as a diplomat for some time in the United States before returning home, which needs me and benefits from the experience I gained there. But Trump should be advised not to attack the people of Somalia or generalize accusations against them. I love Somali people, very strong and brave, with one of the best business mentality in Africa, you find them in most of African markets.
During the time of the Irish famine, the Sultanate of Majeerteen in Somalia was flourishing—the same region from which Ilhan Omar’s great-grandfather came. The Ottoman Sultan Abdulmajid, the 2nd sent relief from Turkey to Ireland, which the British Navy blocked because Britain’s role was negative. But the United States opened its doors to one million Irish immigrants.
Trump, you stand in the right side of history regarding the interests of your country and allies, try not to mix that with hate to Africa and African people. you don't need that.

Your knowledge of history is so woefully ignorant as to redefine the word. The Irish were despised when they came here. That's why there were signs in businesses saying " No Irish", "Irish Keep Out", Irish and dogs keep off the grass."

The Irish brought an unprecedented wave of crime and violence. The worst of the wave of violence was a two day citywide riot in a gang fight with the Bowery Boys that was put down by the New York State Militia. The Irish formed the violent prison gang, The Bluebirds that crushed opposition with murder. The Bluebirds exist today under the name The Aryan Brotherhood.

The Irish were eventually able to assimilate because they were culturally European with the same traditions and morals. Something the Somalis can never do.

I do hope you aren't looking for sympathy for Africans in general and Somalis in particular. You won't get it.

The Africans I know have more trouble adapting to Black culture in the U.S. than to White culture.
