Even Erdogan recognizes Russia is simply not part of the civilized world.
 
That ship has already sailed. Russia is not going to give up its only warm-water naval base.
Not willingly, but when the Kerch bridge is taken out and the land route to Russia is cut, it will be impossible to resupply Russia forces in Crimea and it will fall to Ukraine.
 
The citizens of Crimea are mainly ethnic Russians who speak the Russian language.
When the Russian military liberated Crimea no one was killed and the citizens lined the streets to welcome them.
Then they held an election and the people overwhelmingly voted to become a part of Russia.

Russia could have kept Crimea IF they hadn't launched the invasion of Ukraine.

There has to be a price paid for that atrocity.

Putin should have quit while he was ahead.
