So far even the minuscule tariff activity that has actually gone into effect has awakened our Northern and Southern neighbors who now watch the borders more closely, elicited dozens of corporate plans to expand business inside the United States thus creating job opportunities and increasing the tax base and forced our trade partners to start looking at purchasing American goods in order to balance the deficit they hold with us. It is, it now forces the chi-coms to sell their "rubber dog puke" knock-off stuff to US sellers.

Sure the US seller will charge more but that's sort of the whole point.

That and things like Glock Switches that were being shipped by SpeedPak with no customs clearing will now have a better chance at being detected.

All they had to work with before were to shut down Chi-Com websites as the SpeedPaks themselves were not checked through customs.

I've discovered that most of the crap that comes directly from China isn't worth the cheap prices you pay them. Half the time it's not even what you ordered. China rips us off. They don't have the same rules we have here in the US. Chinese companies love ripping off Americans.
