In the case against Trump’s tariffs, the courts need to stand up for the Constitution
It appears that the Trump administration is losing — for a second time — its argument that it has the power to issue sweeping tariffs .
Not likely! While the article makes a compelling case for the illegality of Trump's taxes on the American people, it overlooks one very important, major fact. Any effort to hold those taxes as illegal would inevitability wind up before the Supreme Court, a court which Trump securely has in his pocket. And, as long as Trump has that security, his taxes will continue to exist, eventually dragging America into a recession first and possibly a depression later.
Trump's attack on the American economy will continue as long as he is in office, which hopefully, ends after the 2026 mid-terms!
Bigly!!!
