Atlantic City should have been completely rebuilt. It was the then Democrats that wrote the rules for gambling. There are a lot of local Prog politicians who went to prison. Corruption ran rampant in building those edifices. And they screwed up demanding 30 story high rises which after a while saw its limits. Those casinos coast two to two and half times more than they should have. Moving some of the ghetto folk was like winning the lottery for them. What a disgrace. The first couple of decades they comped to the max. Now they are tight even charging for parking. Free money the city had. And the Progressives blew it all.
