Civil fines for not re-registering on time, both for the workers and the employers, that got the workers on the H1B program, in the first place, sounds good to me. There are already fines for the people that overstay, but I would definitely expand it to the employers as well, making their Human Resources department responsible to keep tabs on their H1B workers, and of course, you can levy much greater fines on the Corporations, as they have much deeper pockets than Kim Schmuck, the automation repair dude.

Hyundai was careful to use sub contractors and keep the parent company hands more or less clean

How can jobs go from millions added to a few thousand added?
BLS needs DOGE or some other smart people to revise the BLS sampling methods to get accurate numbers.
Numbers should vary a few percent from initial to final, not thousands of percent.
