Former President Donald Trump said in an economic address Thursday that the U.S. has allowed "big companies" to "come in and raid and rape our country."

Trump did not specify what companies he was referring to but indicated he was talking about businesses that export goods to the U.S. that were made overseas.

"So here’s the deal that I will be offering to the world, to companies outside of our world, big companies, powerful companies, that have become powerful because we were stupid, we were stupid. We allowed them to come in and raid and rape our country. That's what they did," he said.

Trump proceeded to tout his plan to provide incentives for companies in other countries to open factories here, saying "the United States will give you the lowest taxes, the lowest energy costs" and the "lowest regulatory burdens."

The breaks would be available "only if you make your products here in America," he said, "and you have to hire American workers."

Trump added that his administration would impose a “tax or tariff” on companies that do not manufacture their goods in the U.S.

He couldn't find one company in America who makes bibles? He could. He just chose to go with cheaper Chinese products. So Trump is proving my point about things like going green. Al Gore can't fix it by himself. Trump WILL not fix the problem willingly. If given a choice, he will go with the cheaper Chinese product. So he's going to MANDATE a tariff on Chinese Bibles to FORCE himself to buy American. Without a law forcing him, he won't do it.

Go around the vast majority if not all of people's residences and you will find all sorts of products made in China. The pets being killed and eaten by migrants has been proven to be true, whether you like it or not. We weren't involved in any conflict with Russia when Trump was in office, so it's immaterial as to whether or not he sent Russia some Covid tests. As for the claim that Trump said windmills cause cancer, that's a new one on me. But, knowing how much the left lies just to get votes, I'll disregard the claim out of hand.

Well having them published in China is only doing what 90% of manufacturers today seem to be doing. The issue for Trump is that he is spesking out about companies moving to China, he can't also erroneously himself support this. A religious item at that.
