Perhaps this is his post-campaign approach but he was slower and more relaxed in his speech, which in my opinion is when he is best because he reminds me of the Trump of the 1980s; he didn't sway from his positions either in the face of questions, wasn't shy to confront controversies (such as how they try to paint RFK) etc.
This was true for vaccines, his support for his nominations, mass deportations, tariffs etc. He didn't break from his promises and the media is now understanding "this is what the American People want so we have to get on board with them or fail".
Maybe he has really found G-d but he was as clear and straight forward as I've seen him. No need to dance around answers or be cryptic (outside of specific military discussions obviously), he has chosen the righteous path. "Be honest, be direct and be clear".
I didn't listen to many of his speeches during his campaign as much of it was a repeat on loop from other campaign events but this press conference kept my attention. Trump is sharper now than eight years ago if this press conference was any indication.
