Trump's DOJ needs to arrest "sanctuary" governors, mayors and DAs who release/protect criminal illegals instead of notifying ICE (Poll)

Should Trump's DOJ indict "sanctuary" governors, mayors, and DAs who do not follow immigration law?

What's taking so long? ICE agents and cops are being shot by criminals who should have been deported.

Why isn't Newsom or Karen Bass or many other "sanctuary" governors or mayors or DAs who do not follow immigration laws arrested and prosecuted?

Federal Law is Federal Law, period, full stop.

I’m good with that. Arrest them. Let’s also get any law enforcement heads too. If one illegal is allowed to leave your jail with an ICE detainer, you take their place.

Lie by the media and Biden administration.

Collateral arrests by ICE were effectively banned under the Biden administration, which issued rules instructing deportation officers to largely focus on arresting serious criminal offenders, national security threats and migrants who recently entered the U.S. illegally. That policy was reversed immediately after President Trump took office for a second time in January.

Yes Biden lied that they were deporting any illegals, even the dangerous criminals.

ICE: 662,000 criminal foreign nationals to be deported are living free nationwide

Most of those leaders took an Oath to their office and the Constitution, and if they are facilitating
invasion of the states, they are in violation of that oath, and it can be proven in a court of law and there are set penalties.
Removal from office, fines up to..something, and jail.
Not very long jail I don't think, though.
Gah, thought this was bookmarked. :(

The Constitution clearly notes that immigration is a federal issue. It is not the states to enforce. The courts just recently overturned Florida in their attempt to do so.

Supreme Court denies Florida’s request to enforce state law on illegal immigration

On top of that courts have also ruled that states can't hold people but for a very short time over a misdemeanor.
