It's true, but the peace Trump is interested in is peace between Israel and the leaderships of the Arab nations, and he sees the war between Israel and the Palestinian terrorists as an obstacle to this larger peace he wants, a mere distraction, and he wants to get it out of the way so he can concentrate on expanding the Abraham Accords. For Trump, the expansion of the Abraham Accords takes priority over the outcome of the current war, but for the Israeli government, the end of Palestinian terrorism takes priority over the expansion of the Abraham Accords. Trump would prefer to see Israel quickly destroy the Palestinian terrorists, but if that cannot be done, Trump will lean on Israel to make concessions that will allow Arab governments to join the Abraham Accords.
Peace is made between governments, not between peoples, and the populations of Arab/Muslim countries are overwhelmingly passionately anti Israel, so no matter what the benefits of joining the Abraham Accords may be, the leaders of these Arab/Muslims countries understand they cannot ignore the anti Israel passions of their populations or they will not be able to govern, and that means while the war continues in Gaza it is highly unlikely Trump will be able to expand the Abraham Accords.
Again, since peace is made between governments, the concept is not applicable to the conflict with the Palestinians since they have no effective government and no leaders who can credibly offer peace to Israel.
