More likely because it was ambiguous, misleading, and the typical hit piece one would expect to be puked up by the Huff&Puffington Post. The article was more of an insane projection than anything else. Trump-supporters are not leaving him in droves. He told us exactly what he was going to do while he was campaigning, and he's carrying out those promises. Which was exactly why we still support him.

I don't know how many of them will ultimately wake up and leave, but hopefully we'll see some kind of momentum here.

Some will leave, some will never leave. This is about far more than politics for them, they're having to also go through a full personal and cultural reckoning.

This is how it works with all cults.

People stay comfortable in the status quo. Even if the status quo that we see today was brought to reality from propaganda. And the economics from it is in decline. People are uncomfortable with change. And Trump is attempting to do just that for the better.

He told us exactly what he was going to do while he was campaigning, and he's carrying out those promises. Which was exactly why we still support him.

During his campaign I don't remember him telling us he was going to bring in a new mRNA vaccine. And I don't remember him running on spending $500 billion on an AI infrastructure surveillance state.

And I don't remember him campaigning on merging with other North American countries - expanding our borders, instead of closing them. And I don't remember him campaigning on bombing civilians in Yemen, or war with Iran.... or spending one trillion on defense. And I don't remember him campaigning on taking over Gaza and building a casino and resort over mass graves of dead children.

And I don't remember him saying he was going to do a 180 on H1B visas and that "We need a lot of people coming in” to the US. And I don't remember him running on backing RINOs like Lindsey Graham, Mike Johnson, Rubio and others.

It's possible that I missed those promises somehow.... but it's always strange to me to hear you guys say that he's doing "what he ran on" doing.... when it seems to me that a lot of what he's doing is either not what he ran on, or the exact opposite.

Sorry to break it to you, but I've seen plenty of people on x who either stopped supporting Trump... or start to question his actions.
