Trump will roll back the EPA climate change policies

Well again, the point was gas pumps in the local cities.

Without the pumps, what's the point of refineries and pipelines? ...

By analogy, electrical infrastructure ends at the breaker box ... the sub-stations, neighborhood transformers all the way down the weatherhead into the service entrance ... that breaker switch is the first place you and I can touch without a building permit and electrician's license ... lawfully ...

We have to have a certified container for the gasoline to be pumped into before we have access to the material ... lawfully ... unless you live in one of these brainless liberal commie McGovernik states where folks can operate these pumps themselves ... and even there someone's going to question why you're filling up barrels of fertilizer with diesel fuel ... "stubborn stumps is all" ...

the pumps are privately owned, that's what. the government has no money invested.

Same is true for the transformer outside my home ... and all the wires and power plants in some places ... electrical service isn't infrastructure? ...

The government collects money at the pump ... the opposite of investing ... but is it still infrastructure? ... without that revenue, our roads would be like Michigan's ... Swiss cheese ...

Consider...Germany has vowed to be carbon-neutral by 2050. In addition, they have foolishly abandoned their nuclear energy resources, and are closing their carbon-fueled electric plants. Electricity is about four times more expensive in Germany than it is in the U.S. The German industrial base is suffering along with its population, as the stratospheric energy costs make them uncompetitive. German industrial giants are going to invest five times as much in new plants in the U.S. than they are in Germany.

Parenthetically, China has vowed to be carbon neutral in 2060, and India in 2070, which in common parlance is "never." Each of those two countries is building a couple new coal-fired power plants EVERY MONTH, while paying lip service to renewables.

The Germans have gone all in on wind and solar, neither of which is plentiful or reliable in that fine country.

If America's "greens" get their way, this is what we can look forward to on this side of the pond. Fortunately, we talk the talk, but don't truly walk the walk, do we? Thank God - and Donald Trump.

Parenthetically, the U.S. Navy, at the President's direction, destroyed the massive Nordstream 2 natural gas pipeline for the apparent purpose of depriving Russia of a major source of hard currency, but secondarily it dramatically improved prospects for U.S. sales of LNG to Germany...and of course it played a major role in the escalation of the aforesaid energy costs in Germany.

Have I said something that I oughtn't?

You might want to get your facts straight ... no citation means you're making all this up as you go ... Statistica dot com gives the current average monthly household cost in Germany at 120€ per month (≈ $132 US) ...

Why on Earth do you think the average electric bill in the US is only $35 per month? ... Ecoflow dot com gives this as less than the average for Arizona, Texas or Louisiana ... about the same for California ...

The stupidity is you think President Trump destroyed Nord Stream 2 when in fact the explosions occurred under the Biden Administration ... Bubba didn't finish Middle School ... the math is too hard for you? ...

He didn't say which President ordered the destruction. Is reading too hard for you?

Your facts are wrong ... stupid ...
You claimed he said something he didn't. I corrected you. Now you're pissed at me.

I'm curious what you believe your inability to control your emotions like an adult obligates me to do.
electricity isn't four times as expensive as Idaho ... are you DGS49's wife or something? ...
I made no claims about prices. Go stamp your feet and pout somewhere else, kid.

WASHINGTON (AP) — In a potential landmark action, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency has privately urged the Trump administration to reconsider a scientific finding that has long been the central basis for U.S. action against climate change.

In a report to the White House, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin called for a rewrite of the agency's finding that determined planet-warming greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare, according to four people who were briefed on the matter but spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the recommendation is not public.

If the endangerment finding is upended, “the havoc will happen sooner and more sweepingly," she said.

University of Pennsylvania climate scientist Michael Mann said the EPA's action “is just the latest form of Republican climate denial. They can no longer deny climate change is happening, so instead they’re pretending it’s not a threat, despite the overwhelming scientific evidence that it is, perhaps, the greatest threat that we face today.”

Comment:
Manmade climate change has not been proven.
No natural science is proven. It has been enormously well evidenced and is accepted by very close to 100% of scientists in the climate fields.
Climate Change is a weak hypothesis.
It is a theory and an extremely well supported theory and very widely accepted.
Climate Change Fear is a political tool that is used to loot the taxpayers and to control all aspects of society.
How about some example of this taxpayer looting and societal control? Got any?
The Radical Left lies when they claim that Manmade climate change is undisputed.
It is not the "Radical Left" that makes such claims. It is the world's climate scientists.

This is false. The science may be found at www.ipcc.ch and their references.
“One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth.”
-- Ottmar Edenhofer, lead author of the IPCC’s fourth summary report

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for the, at least, 150 years, since the industrial revolution."
-- Christiana Figueres, U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change

"We may get to the point where the only way of saving the world will be for industrialized civilization to collapse."
-- Maurice Strong, who organized the first U.N. Earth Climate Summit

"We have got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy."
-- Former U.S. Senator Timothy Wirth (D-CO), then representing the Clinton-Gore administration as U.S undersecretary of state for global issues

"A global warming treaty [Kyoto] must be implemented even if there is no scientific evidence to back the [enhanced] greenhouse effect."
-- Richard Benedick, former deputy assistance of State

"No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…climate change [provides] the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world."
-- Christine Stewart, then Canadian Minister of the Environment

"The threat of environmental crisis will be the international disaster key to unlock the New World Order."
-- Mikhail Gorbachev, former Soviet Union President

"For the first time, humanity is instituting a genuine instrument of global governance, one that should find a place within the World Environmental Organization which France and the European Union would like to see established."
-- Jacques Chirac, former President of France

"On the one hand, as scientists we are ethically bound to the scientific method, on the other hand, we are not just scientists, but human beings as well. And like most people, we’d like to see the world a better place, which in this context translates into our working to reduce the risk of potentially disastrous climatic change. To do that, we need to get some broad-based support, to capture the public’s imagination. That, of course, entails getting loads of media coverage. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of the doubts we might have. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest."
-- Stephen Schneider, lead author for important parts of three sequential IPCC reports

“None of the models used by the IPCC are initialized to the observed state and none of the climate states in the models correspond even remotely to the current observed state”.
-- Kevin Trenberth, a lead author of 2001 and 2007 IPCC report chapters

“What scientific, refereed publications substantiate these pronouncements? What studies alluded to have shown a connection between observed warming trends on Earth and long-term trends of cyclone activity?” “[Dr. Trenberth] seems to have come to a conclusion that global warming has altered hurricane activity, and has already stated so. This does not reflect consensus within the hurricane research community.”
-- Christopher Landsea, a top expert on the subject of cyclones
