WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump’s budget office on Wednesday rescinded a memo freezing spending on federal grants, less than two days after it sparked widespread confusion and legal challenges across the country.

The Monday evening memo from the White House Office of Management and Budget sparked uncertainty over a crucial financial lifeline for states, schools and organizations that rely on trillions of dollars from Washington and left the White House scrambling to explain what would and wouldn’t be subject to a pause in funding.

The reversal was the latest sign that even with unified control of Washington, Trump’s plans to dramatically and rapidly reshape the government has some limits.

Translation, pushback works. Felon47 overstepped his authority. These are federal funds already allocated by Congress. Congress, NOT the White House controls those funds.
you do realize that they rescinded the part that the Judge had a problem with, but they are still going forward with the program?

Well at least they had the good sense to stop and regroup.

Remember the Halfrican Care rollout? What a clusterfuck that was.
They should have had the good sense to know what they were doing before they signed it. This is starting to be a trend.
