Trump was the unfortunate inherited the problems surrounding Covid, as the media blamed it all on him. The world economy then shut down, throwing us into an inflationary spriral we are still experiencing today, along with the crushing loss of jobs along with it. And even though inflation is not as bad under Trump as it was Biden, Trump will still get blamed for it all again as people continue to struggle financially. As we see, people have lost all reason by following Charlatans like Mamdani offering us all free things because they are so desperate. It is why Biden won.
But in addition to that, we have AI taking jobs away. Once again, this is out of the control of Trump as was Covid. He simply has to try and keep up, in order for the US to compete economically and militarily for world influence. The problem is, AI will take a record number of jobs in a very short time frame.

Statistics show that AI will replace 300 million jobs, and 41% of companies worldwide plan to reduce their workforce by 2030. The McKinsey Report reveals that acceleration of generative AI is expected to automate an additional eight percent of American workers' work hours across all economic sectors, increasing the overall percentage of automated work hours to around 30%.
It has always puzzled me how people can get all excited and happy about the notion of people needing never to work again, as if it were a liberating event in human history, that is, other than those on the Left who refuse to work now for whatever reason.
Once again, Trump will be blamed as they turn to the Mamdani's of the world to offer them more free stuff as they struggle more and more in the next 5 years.
