I don't really know if he would have that power in an impeachment proceeding, but if he does, there is a good argument that he would unless they find a hell of a lot more dirt than they have now considering the unanimous ruling a couple years ago in tossing Gov. McDonald's conviction. I am a bit skeptical he has that power though since it is up to the legislature, not the courts, to define what is a high crime or misdemeanor in the context of the impeachment powers.
