That's totally fair yourself. Yes the media is unfair to Trump just as it was to Reagan prior to his presidency when he was the butt of the media's jokes and cast as a loser. Reagan when put in position however had the leadership skills to rise above the media putting them in their place.
I'm a sports fan and the situation brings to my mind a comparison between baseball player Albert Belle and basketball player Charles Barkley during simultaneous times in their playing careers. I didn't have a high regard for either's style during those days. What I noticed most in how they were perceived by the media was Albert Belle consistently being reported as a thug meanwhile the press was much more willing to gloss over Barkley's faults. The difference, Belle refused to give interviews and treated the media as his antagonist. Barkley on the other hand would cut reporters some slack and often feed them good quotes.
In 4 years Trump hasn't learned a thing about leadership.
