That may well be true. On the other hand, a more diplomatic approach might help in terms of China.

The problem with that is China is not taking us anymore seriously than North Korea. Trump thought he had a deal with China until they showed us it was a lot of hot air. How long have we been trying diplomatic relationships anyhow? Seems that's all we've tried and everything has failed up to now.

South Korea doesn't want anything to do with us bringing nukes there, and Japan doesn't want nukes either. So what do we do?

Unless we make serious threats to China regarding our trade relationships, China will keep supplying NK with whatever they want.
