But Tuesday night's debate did not go like the earlier faceoff.
“She was exquisitely well-prepared. She laid traps, and he chased every rabbit down every hole instead of talking about the things that he should have been talking about," former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Trump ally-turned-critic, said in an interview with ABC News.

Well, I didn't see her on the Fox News debate. They offered. Trump accepted. Harris declined. But now, all of a sudden she wants to debate again, but only on a network that would shill for her.

I wonder at which point in this year's campaign season the democrats realized they had picked the worst candidates they could.

Time will tell. I hope you are right but at this point I see him as autocratic. If he continues his autocratic ways it will take our country away from the principkes it was built on.
He defeated Democrats 2 out of 3 times. I say it was as much an inept democratic party as it was Trump.
You would think if he was that awful they would put up better candidates.
The problems were more than the candidates. Democrats focused too much on morality and character of the candidates not the issues.
I say the Republicans won despite their candidate. He focused on the issues that mattered to people, economy, border, crime. Many did not care for him.
You make a good point, they couldn’t focus on the issue of the American people and focus too much on lawfare,assassination attempts and polltical prosecucations and thought that was enough for a win.
The people just weren’t buying it.
