Trump to ban corporations from purchasing homes. This is a huge deal IMO and will secure the future of the matrimonial home that leads to families

Just announced.

He is also going to educate the self-serving, global elite in Davos. I will be tuning in for sure.

Is MAGA back stronger than ever?

Odds are he does nothing but if it was a Democrat arguing that MAGA would be yelling "Socialism, socialism".

(if this is even real)
Oh c'mon. You know it's different when they do it.

At least he mentioned congress lol.
I dont want the govt in the private sector at all, but this, I believe, would be completely constitutional. If he does it right.
The whole concept of "Constitutional" has become a joke. The Court sold that out long ago.

I know. But it isnt to me. Thats why I hate everyone in govt except for a couple lol.

What Constitutional right does the president have to decide who can and cannot buy a home?
Congress can regulate commerce. Which can include corporate activity and real estate transactions.
But I think the legislation would need to be worded correctly or it could be defeated easily. Thats just my opinion at this point.

If you're referring to the "commerce clause" that refers to interstate commerce. I don't see how that can stop a corporation from buying a specific building.

A lot of that was going on in late 2021, early 2022. it was almost impossible to buy a house. I don't know what the percentages were, but they shouldn't be able to buy up so much property that they are causing noticeable shortages in the inventory. There needs to be limits, or what's to stop them from buying entire areas of homes on the market, creating a monopoly?
