My grandparents sent my father's younger siblings to America to stay with him and his brother when my father 20 years old because they thought they'd have more opportunities here, and they did. That's a choice families are going to have to make with the coming regime. That still doesn't address the fact that their children who are born here are citizens whether they go back with their parents or not. Nor will it change the fact that when they grow up and have children of their own, whether in America or abroad their children will also be American citizens like my daughter is.
