That's not the primary target of H-1B....Those visas (owned by the employer) are a modern version of indenture.
Trump is gonna deport the brownies so you can get a job at a chicken farm and import Indians for IT jobs. Makes sense.
H1B's were never a campaign issue. They are overused by some companies, and people would like to see them better regulated.
