Trump still getting his covid booster shot

Safe-ER and the effectiveness MIGHT make it worth the risk. But he's nearly 80: quite old. Explain why people had their babies and children vaccinated and pg women too?? Oh yeah, it was a Moral Panic.

MIGHT make it worth the risk for him? He’s the President of the United States with access to the best medical team and he took the vaccine. That shoots your bullshit down real quick. MIGHT nothing.

Womp womp.

All well and fine but it doesnt address what I pointed out.
What gets made fun of is the sheeple that just do what they're told because the government says so.

There are 350 million Americans.

A blanket recommendation is impossible.

I'm 47 and haven't been ill once throughout the Covid years. Not even the sniffles. I can't remember the last time I took a pain reliever... and I don't take anything else.

I think the last time I took a pain reliever was before Covid. First (and so far only) kidney stone.

If this is you... you don't need a flu shot or a Covid booster. You've got a strong immune system. Let it do it's work.

Biden gets condemned for recommending everyone get the shot.

MAGA condemns him.

Trump recommends the same.

MAGA blames Biden.

It's triage, My Dude.

Risk vs Benefit.

At 80, your risk from the booster is outweighed by the benefit. There isn't much long term risk when there isn't much long term left at 80.

If you're 30, you've got 50 years of long term risk your gambling with.

And your short term risk from COVID-19 complications is very low.

Whereas, for an 80 year old the risk of complications from the flu, or pneumonia, or Covid19 is much higher.

Risk vs benefit.

So the covid vaccine should have been taken by all 80-year-olds.

Correct?

When Alpha and Delta variants were out there, I would have taken it. My folks took the original vaccine in their 80s.

I also took the initial vaccine, because my elderly parents needed my help.

That's a different risk vs benefit.

I was willing to risk future complications from the vaccine to help my parents when they needed me.

But... no. All 80 year olds should have consulted their doctors, done their own research, and made a decision they felt was the right decision for them.

Which is exactly how all healthcare decisions should be made.

If that decision is good for the President of the United States, who has access to the best medical support team, then it’s probably good enough for all the other 80-year-olds as well.

Do you think he took the clot shot?

Or, having access to the best medical support team that literally monitors his health daily is part of the decision making matrix...

Compared to an 80 year old on Medicare that sees the doctor once every two months for 10 minutes.

LoL, sure thing bud.

You idiots were calling it a clot shot. If it’s good enough for the POTUS to take, then it’s probably good enough for other 80-year-olds to take.

Are you going to get them vaccinated for Covid?
My son is a doctor. It’s his wife that is expecting. The reason you get vaccinated around infants is so you are less likely to get sick and pass it on to them. Whooping cough is especially important.

Most vaccinations happen 2 to 6 months.

Not really an answer to my question.
Is your son, the doctor, going to have his newborns injected with one of the Covid vaccines?
