Seeing the shot in slow motion, it is miraculous that Trump literally turned his head slightly at the moment bullet was fired. I mean just a.fraction of a second before the bullet landed. This entire assassination attempt has not just impacted America it has frightened the world. Imagine the image of Trump on the groud and not responsive if it had hit.accurately? This.would have done exponentially worse to America than one could even prognosticate.

He talked about that yesterday. He repeated I shouldn’t be alive today.

After Reagan got shot it really changed him. He says he started acting like he was on borrowed time, getting things done daily and not putting off things.

I saw a post on Twitter (very well have originated somewhere else) claiming to be made by the sniper who took out the shooter. It said they where waiting on “approval” from their superiors to take the shot. I passed the Tweet up because the idea a sniper would need to request “approval” in a sistuation like that didn’t seem to make a lot of sense. After learning the shooter was on the roof for 26 minutes, it seems more plausible.

So a minute in a half? That’s still a long time, and more than adequate to have neutralized the threat before he attempted to murder Trump.

Why a delay at all? The sniper saw the hit man on the roof, with a rifle, and WAITED until he got off his would-be kill shot.

And the woman who heads the SS made up some flimsy excuse that they left the roof unguarded because it “sloped”. My 60-year old brother just climbed onto the roof of my parents house to tack down a shingle that had come loose, and the slope on that is at least 3x the slight slope on the unguarded roof.

That the U.S. Secret Service allowed a roof 100 yards away with a clear shot to be unguarded, the anti-sniper did not kill the hit man he had spotted and had in his cross-hairs until AFTER he shot, and the ridiculous “sloped roof” excuse the SS Chief made points to only one of two things:

1. Gross incompetence of the government, or
2. An intentional plan put in place by the deranged anti-Trumpers in the government

I guess the sloped roof was a safety concern for highly trained federal agents of the secret service, but it wasn't for the shooter.

I guess the sloped roof had to be avoided so agents wouldn't get hurt, but trump definitely got hurt.

And I see a dozen Mexicans running up and down very steep roofs all day long reroofing houses and they seem fine.
